Quality

R&H Hall represents a tradition of trust and quality throughout the provision and delivery of its services and is committed to continuous improvement and investment in its quality processes and portside storage facilities. Verification of traceability and assurance at every stage is imperative to meet the increasing demands of food safety and international food standards.

R & H Hall remain at the forefront of the agri-food industry with the following standards:

Good Trading Practice

R & H Hall and Barnett Trading are EFISC GTP (The European Code of Good Trading Practice) certified for the trading and storage of grain and feedstuffs and as such all feed materials purchased are from an approved and assured supply chain.
This certification also incorporates independent verification of our hygiene and Hazards Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) procedure and product traceability for all aspects of the storage and handling of animal feed materials across our facilities in Dublin Port, Foynes, Ringaskiddy, Lisahally and Belfast.

Quality Assurance

As a reflection of R & H Hall’s commitment to traceability and quality assurance, standard analysis for protein, oil, fibre and moisture is carried out on arrival for each shipment supported by salmonella testing and Non GM analysis (as required). Further testing for undesirable substances is driven by a risk based assessment on each commodity. The technical services of R&H Hall remain under constant review and we work closely with academics to take account of world scientific literature and technical developments relating to animal feed nutrition, quality and safety.
