R&H Hall continue to invest in portside storage facilities to meet higher quality standards for food safety and increasing demands. The continued competitiveness, and perhaps the very survival, of the agri-food industry will be dictated by being able to ensure purity of food.  R&H Hall has been conscious of food safety and the need for traceability in feed ingredients, thus all its feed stores operate to I.S. EN ISO-9002 Quality Management Standards. In 1999, R&H Hall implemented a documented HACCP system underpinned by a comprehensive prerequisite programme for all aspects of the storage and handling of animal feed materials.   The fact that many products are shipped direct from country of origin means that R&H Hall have greater control of the product from source to destination, thus protecting its quality and safety. All products imported and stored carry full traceability records.  All feed samples are analysed by up to four approved laboratories for proximate and additional analysis while Aqualab, ARYZTA's ILAB accredited laboratory, carries out a further backup analysis. The technical services of R&H Hall remain in constant communication with the world scientific literature and technical developments relating to animal feed nutrition, quality and safety.
